The Rules

1. No bullying whatsoever. You have to understand the difference between "in character" and "out of character". If your character is known to be aggressive or an instigator, and two characters are at odds it makes sense to be rude. But please don't bring "in character" issues to out of character. No insulting one another, nor being rude to one another. This is important because we as admins want to create a haven for our users and no favoritism will occur. If this happens you will be banned for a certain amount of time.

2. Please role play in third person. Such as "She went to the park" rather than "I went to the park". We prefer you narrating the character, thoughts may be in first person, but please think of your posts as a novel of sorts where you are the narrator.

3. When registering, please register as the name of your character. No usernames that are like "Cody946" or something of sorts. Just a first name and a last name of your character.

4. Please make sure your posts are at least a paragraph. We don't tend to like one sentence posts simply because it gives nothing for your fellow rper to be able to reply. If you have a hard time, maybe describe the environment, or thoughts of emotions.

5. While this might be a site based on the Vatican and so forth please keep your talk about actual religion when off character to a minimal. We would prefer if you keep those thoughts to yourself because no one really shares another's complete opinion. We hope you think the same when it comes to your political views.

6. Please do not god-mod. God-modding is when you narrate in your posts something such as "Jim stabbed Rob and he bled profusely." <- this is considered god-modding if Rob wanted to avoid it, you are not giving your fellow rper a choice in the matter and thus is godmodding. You can say that "Jim attempted to stab Rob" and then Rob decides whether or not he was. Please keep this in mind.

7. Please make sure to avoid making any "Mary/Gary Sues/Stues." Mary Sues or Gary Stues are characters that are "positively perfect in every way" so much so that they have no imperfections, and everyone loves them and nothing is ever wrong with them and they can never get hurt. We understand that this is fiction, but you cannot force others to deal with this.

8. Always keep in mind the age of your character. Just because you have a child character does not mean that they have the vocabulary of an adult. Please do not put them in adult situations, that do not make sense. We must keep some sense of normalcy.

9. There is no character limit, please keep this in mind. BUT, you must only take as many characters as you can possibly stand. While we love an abundance of characters, remember that you are responsible for them.

10. Please respect the admin team. We work hard on the site and we work hard to keep you happy and entertained. And so we would like for you to understand that we put these rules for a reason, and that we expect ALL to follow them. If you have any questions of whether rules are broken pm one of our admin teams and we will help as quickly as we can.

11. Respect is a two way street. If you show respect to your fellow members they will respect you back. We do not want to force a settlement between altercations, but we will if necessary. Please keep in mind that we might have to ban you if it gets serious.

12. Never be afraid to pm one of the admins. We are here to help and will gladly answer back WITHIN REASON. We do not want a bunch of pms for the same problem we will answer you as soon as we can.

13. Follow all rules. Sometimes they will change and we will ANNOUNCE it to you. Remember rules are here for a reason and that's to make sure we all have fun.
